RiboLyse is a highly optimized guanidinium-based lysis buffer formulated to rapidly disrupt animal cells and tissues while inactivating RNases on contact. Its balanced chaotropic composition ensures efficient protein denaturation, immediate ribonuclease inhibition, and complete release of intact RNA suitable for downstream applications including RT-qPCR, RNA-seq, microarrays, and other gene-expression workflows.

RiboLyse efficiently solubilizes cellular membranes and structural proteins, producing a clear lysate compatible with silica-membrane binding when combined with ethanol. The formulation supports robust performance across a wide range of sample types including cultured cells, soft tissues, fibrous tissues, and preserved samples.
